Il viaggio si svolgerà dal 3 al 7 maggio 2018

Il viaggio darà la possibilità di visitare la città di Roma con un focus specifico sul sistema politico e sulla relazione intercorsa nel secoli tra potere, politica ed architettura.

Partiremo da una visita del Parlamento italiano, allo scopo di comprendere come funziona il sistema democratico italiano nella realtà, ci muoveremo nei luoghi della Roma antica visitando i Fori Romani di  notte con dei visori a realtà aumentata allo scopo di comprendere come era il clima che si respirava ad i tempi, visiteremo i luoghi del potere papale salendo sulla Cupola di San Pietro e visitando Castel Sant’Angelo, infine visiteremo l’impianto urbanistico dell’EUR nato in epoca fascista allo scopo di comprendere il rapporto tra questo movimento politico e il modo di organizzare gli spazi e le sue architettura. Sulla via di andata, per spezzare il viaggio in pullman, ci fermeremo a visitare la città di Orvieto con una visita al Pozzo di San Patrizio e al Duomo gotico della città, mentre al ritorno ci fermeremo a visitare il complesso romano di Villa Adriana a Tivoli.

Nella visita di queste città saranno intervallati momenti di racconto delle specificità politiche, storiche, artistiche e architettoniche con lo scopo di far meglio apprezzare la bellezza e l’importanza dei luoghi, con momenti lasciati alla libera esplorazione.

La quota di partecipazione è di 370 € per tutti coloro che si iscriveranno entro il 14 aprile (di cui 150€ vi verranno restituiti a seguito della visita, quindi 370€ – 150€ = 220€).
NB: Per tutti coloro che si iscriveranno successivamente la quota sarà di 390€ per venire incontro ad aumenti di costo dati dall’avvicinarsi alla data del viaggio

La quota comprende:

• Viaggio in pullman andata e ritorno
• Hotel (3 stelle) + colazione
• Assicurazione medica di viaggio

The trip will take place from 3 to 7 May 2018

The trip will give the opportunity to visit the city of Rome with a specific focus on the political system and the relationship between power, politics and architecture over the centuries.

We will start from a visit of the Italian Parliament, in order to understand how the Italian democratic system works in reality, we will move to the places of ancient Rome visiting the Roman Forums at night with augmented reality viewers in order to understand how the climate was breathed at the time, we will visit the places of papal power climbing on the Dome of St. Peter and visiting Castel Sant’Angelo, then we will visit the urban plan of the EUR born in the Fascist era in order to understand the relationship between this political movement and the way to organize the spaces and its architecture. On the way forward, to break the journey by coach, we will stop to visit the city of Orvieto with a visit to the Well of St. Patrick and the Gothic Cathedral of the city, while returning we will stop to visit the Roman complex of Villa Adriana in Tivoli .

In the visit of these cities will be interspersed moments of story of political, historical, artistic and architectural specificities in order to better appreciate the beauty and importance of the places, with moments left to free exploration.

The participation fee is € 370 for all those who register by April 14 (of which € 150 will be returned following the visit, then € 370 – € 150 = € 220).
NB: For all those who register later the fee will be € 390 to meet cost increases due to approaching the date of travel

• Visit to the Cathedral of Orvieto

The intinerary will be:

May 3rd (Thursday)
Departure early in the morning (around 5:00 AM) to arrive around 10:00 in Orvieto
Restart by 15:30 to get to Rome
Arrival in Rome with accommodation in Hotel
10.00 pm visit with viewers of augmented reality of the Forum of Caesar

May 4th (Friday)
Morning: Visit of the Italian Parliament
Afternoon: Free visit to the city

May 5 (Saturday)
Morning: Guided tour of Castel Sant’Angelo
Afternoon: Visit to the dome of St. Peter

May 6 (Sunday)
Morning: Guided tour of EUR
Afternoon: Free visit of the city

May 7 (Monday)
Morning: Guided tour of Villa Adriana in Tivoli
Afternoon: Return to Milan
